decided to borrow inception to re-watch that coolness. and conveniently borrowed Date Night as well (since it was one-for-one rental that day), and thinking perhaps my parents would like it even though i've already watched it before.

me: i borrowed this for u all to see. want to watch?

mum: dowan. (without raising her head from the bloody iphone game to even ask what the show is about)

me: why?

mum: aiya dowan la. 

me: but i borrowed for u leh

mum: you go and watch it yourself la

me: i watched already. i borrowed for u all to watch

mum: (screaming at me) WHAT FOR YOU BORROW FOR ME, WHEN I ALREADY HAVE SO MANY SHOWS IN THE DVD TO WATCH. 

me: k
